I took in total about 1h10 of breaks split into 2. No pain was felt during the run surprisingly, only tiredness. The run was played on emulator with a xbox one controller. the random sounds are part of retroachievements. I was unlocking some during each mission boss and 3 star cups.
An easy time save I could have done is skipping the first credit In my case I just let it run the whole time and was even AFK at the end
