This is the official rules of the event via discord server, BUT please also follow the rules posted on this website:
Rule 1: Both Members of the registered team MUST be present on the Ready or Not Discord.
Rule 2: Both Members of the registered team MUST be willing to share their addresses to allow payment and shipping of prizing.
Rule 3: If at any point, either team member has severe Moderation action taken against them in any of our communities, the entire team will be disqualified immediately without appeal.
Rule 3.1: If a run is submitted with mods, the team in question will be asked to resubmit the run. If they fail to do so then they will be disqualified without appeal.
Rule 4: If the video comes into question, then any of the review staff may request a raw or otherwise uncut version of the run.
If the video does not pass review then the team will be disqualified.

The map is Ides of March / Brisa Cove, and the competition runs from May 19th - 23rd
Players will be required to complete all of the objectives listed in your tablet as fast as possible with as few casualties as possible. Please keep in mind that in the case of a tie in times, player score will be used to also determine the winner.
Teams will be required to submit the POVs of both players all the way to the score screen via Google Sheet and Youtube as well as submit their run via a custom leaderboard on Speedrun.com.
For a run to be valid, two extra conditions must be met:
No mods allowed, even client-side gear mods, reshades, etc.,
BOTH players must be wearing full tan colored outfits, with the exception of a black helmet. This is done so that players would be less likely to use pre-recorded or older footage.

Hi everyone, a new rule was recently added to our board regarding multiplayer runs. The rule is as follows: MULTIPLAYER RUNS HAVE TO BE SUBMITTED WITH EVERYONE'S POV. THIS MEANS IF YOU'RE PLAYING DUO, BOTH PEOPLE MUST BE RECORDING. THIS IS TO VERIFY IF PEOPLE ARE USING CLIENT SIDE MODS THAT CANNOT BE DETECTED BY THE HOST ALONE. ALL RUNS THAT WERE VERIFIED BEFORE THIS RULE WAS ADDED ARE GRANDFATHERED IN.

Hello everyone, we have a few changes to talk about regarding Ready or Not speedrunning! As of December 10th 2024, Ready or Not received its second DLC expansion, Dark Waters. Due to new changes with the AI behaviors, loadout system, and animations across the board, we have decided to reset the leaderboards to 2.0. The 1.0 leaderboard can still be accessed via SRC, all you have to do is click the 1.0 tab, but for the future (until another major update happens) all submitted runs will be posted on the 2.0 board.
Another thing to go over is the ban of the supporter edition shield, the HRT Rescue Shield. This is because this shield allows you to move slightly faster than the other riot shield, and since it was a supporter edition only item (which is now unobtainable) we feel as if a pay to win shield simply isn't fair.
Other than these two changes, please keep in mind these rules that are often overlooked: MODDING, CHEATING AND HACKING OF THE GAME IS STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED! ALL RUNS MUST INCLUDE THE WAITING SCREEN PRIOR TO THE RUN STARTING AS WELL AS THE FULL SCORE SCREEN (INCLUDING LETTER SCORE) AT THE END OF A RUN! MULTIPLAYER RUNS HAVE TO BE SUBMITTED BY THE HOST OF SAID MULTIPLAYER LOBBY TO NEGATE LOADING DIFFERENCES!

MAJOR CHANGES FOR SPEEDY OR NOT
Strap in everyone because there's a couple of things to cover.
Disabling Fog After extensive discussion within the team we have decided to allow all runners to disable fog if they so wish to through editing the .ini file. The mod team is very concerned with allowing changes to the game files but there are members within the community who arn't able to enable it and it appear to be hardware related. Further, we as the mod team, currently dont have a way to prove or disprove the editing of game files without physically checking an individuals files. So in the interest of fairness
Specifically relating to fog we are allowing the editing of the .ini file. If the team suspects that there is some sort of tampering with the game in any other way we may ask you for evidence/files or reject the run.
Goodbye to A+% We are officially saying goodbye to A+% as it is by far the least run category and doesnt really have its own identity. It was originally added way back in the beginning of RoN Speedrunning as a bridge between Obj% and S% and we were hoping to see unique run styles or strategies be used in this category. However, it is now mostly a "Failed S%" grave yard. but......
Hello to Arrest% With the fairwell of A+% we are introducing Arrest%. This new category will be the new bridge between Obj% and S%. The category's rules will be finalised over the coming days and we would love to hear your thoughts as the community on what you want the category to look like. But in short, it will be Obj% without killing or using leathal munitions on civilians.
Category Extensions Leaderboard Approved!!!! Rejoice! Speedrun.com approved the new leaderboard within 8 hours, which is absolutely wild. The CE leaderboard will include Partol Officer% and Revolver% along with any future fun categories that you, the community want! Mod Team Changes As a team of volunteers, our availability, hobbies and personal interests change over time and that changes our commitment to moderating this community.
With that we have some changes: We are saying goodbye to Luke, By Grace from the mod team on both SRC and Discord. Luke was one of the founding members of this community and their contributions are valued and appreciated.
The goat T4t0 will be stepping down from being a super moderator on SRC. They will still be around in the discord but their personal commitments (going crazy in Lethal Company Speedrunning) mean they just dont have as much time for RoN Speedrunning.
Firekillerxx / ash is being promoted to a super moderator due to their insane amount of run verification and level of activity within the community

Hey everyone, before doing / submitting runs please make sure to read the rules very carefully to prevent run rejections from occurring. Good luck running :) !
Common reasons for rejections:
- Runners do not include the full letter score at the end of their runs.
- Runners play on commander mode instead of practice mode.
- Multiplayer runs MUST be submitted by the host (this is to negate time differences).
