Update:

Instating a board change proved to be much simpler than expected. Switch 2 submissions are open! Please make sure you are submitting to the correct category, your run may be rejected otherwise.

The Issue:

The Switch 2 has proven to have enormous benefits for load times. As such, it is completely uncompetitive to compare runs performed on a Switch 2 against those done on Switch 1.

What we are doing:

Currently, the plan is to set up the leaderboard to split runs by the console they were performed on. This is going to require a lot of work, as we don't want to show Switch 1 and Switch 2 runs next to one another, so it can't just be as simple as adding Switch 2 as a console tag. This will take some time to set up.

What this means for runners:

Until we get the boards set up to an acceptable standard, we will not be verifying any Switch 2 runs. It is uncertain how much work will need to be done, so it would be appreciated if you could hold off on submissions until we get everything set up properly. You submission may be rejected in the meantime. We will make an announcement once Switch 2 submissions are open.
