For local files you can use a program like Avidemux - use the A and B markers at the first frame and last frame of the run and it will display the time in the bottom right. Basically any program that shows you the video time down to the milliseconds. Slime Rancher is my first and only main speedgame (so far). I've been actively running it since August 2018. I've taken a break recently but I'll pick it back up again soon since I can still push my any% glitchless time much lower.
Ask the leaderboard mod to change the name to Nothing. (with a full stop) or something so it doesn't link to a real account.

Edit: probably last edit, I think I understand it now:
block with melee or aim with gun dash in any direction except the opposite of your second dash (e.g. you can do left, then forwards. but not backwards then forwards) release block/aim (this isn't required for the glitch, but it lets you do the second dash sooner) instantly do another dash in the direction you want to go spam jump straight after to keep the speed
so to bhop forwards, the inputs might look something like: hold RMB, double-tap FORWARDS/LEFT/RIGHT, release RMB, dobule-tap FORWARDS
Note that you need the correct cyberware to have the slow-down ability
not sure if different attacks/weapons give different speeds, they all seem the same. not sure if double dashing forwards is better than dashing left/right then forwards, speed/distance seems the same from my testing.

@LPhantom yes, there weren't any solid rules in the first place anyway.
For mongraals editing course you no longer have to follow the "rules" of the original competition (e.g. edit all walls, use shotgun). The only rule is to finish the map while going through all rooms, but you can go through these rooms how you want.
The reasons for this change are:
- The original "rules" of the competition are very vague and as far as I can tell it's just editing walls in a certain way which most runs on the leaderboard have actually failed.
- Most runs on the leaderboard (including the current 2:48 wr) failed the original "rules". for example the world record didn't use the shotgun for the cubes and didn't use boxes to get past the gunners in the last room which appeared in mongraals video.

Old runs with no video proof should definitely be removed, it's clear that the mods don't verify runs properly (at least in the past) so we can't trust the runs with the hypixel stats aren't invalid in some way. They have verified runs with hackers, obviously impossible and faked times, and much more. If the mods can't take a few mins to check a run is valid then at least let the community view all the runs for themselves to make sure none are invalid.
I don't know if @CreatorCreepy and @Qrimzon were mods at the time when I saw all the faked/invalid runs, so I can't say if they verify runs properly or not.

Just a note that using keyboard is faster because for some reason you move about 2x faster when moving diagonally on keyboard. e.g. holding W+A, W+D, S+A and S+D. This does not work on a controllers d-pad, only keyboard.

Yeah true. You need 1,326,500 newbucks total and even with the best largos it would take like 17686 plorts (with the default price, 75) - mosaic-tangle largos are best. (dervish also work). Also I forgot about another thing you would need to do for 100%: all glass desert oasis fountains and plants watered.
Not exactly sure since no one has attempted a run that long, but maybe 6-10 hours? The only massive grind would likely be the 7zee rewards, treasure cracker mk3, and possibly some slime science related achievements. Slimepedia could be done in under 2 hours, gordos might add on another 30mins? All Achievements would take quite a while, maybe a lot longer than I thought. and maybe another 40mins or so if the rush mode achievements were required (I think it would be better if it was adventure mode only tho).
